Hadith No -19- Kitaab-ul-Eeman (کتاب الاایمان) Bukhaari Shareef (Ahaadees Mubaarkah)

 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي صَعْصَعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَيْرَ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ ، يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ وَمَوَاقِعَ الْقَطْرِ ، يَفِرُّ بِدِينِهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ " .

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle said, "A time will come that the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take on the top of mountains and the places of rainfall (valleys) so as to flee with his religion from afflictions."

EXPLANATIONS:

This hadith speaks about a time that may come in the future where Muslims may have to flee with their religion from afflictions. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised that the best property for a Muslim during this time would be sheep, as they can be taken up on mountains and places of rainfall. This hadith teaches us that we should always be prepared for any situation and not take our faith for granted. We should also strive to protect our faith no matter what happens in life.

In this case, it is obligatory on him to try to end the fitna. Doing so will either be obligatory on him, or depending on the circumstances and possibilities, the obligation will be sufficient. However, the scholars disagree about the days other than the Fitna, which is the best way for a person to live in seclusion and mingle with people?

The more popular view is that a man should mix with people if he has a strong belief that he will not be involved in sins. "Yafar Badinah Min Al-Fattan" means he will flee under the fear that he may not fall victim to temptations in the matter of religion. It is for this reason that man has been ordered to migrate from the areas where polytheism is common and come to the areas where Islam is dominant and similarly, leaving the areas where immorality is prevalent, leave these areas. May I come to a place where steadfastness prevails. The same should be done with the change of people and time.

´ہم سے (اس حدیث کو) عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اسے مالک رحمہ اللہ سے نقل کیا، انہوں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن عبداللہ بن ابی صعصعہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے باپ (عبداللہ رحمہ اللہ) سے، وہ ابو سعید خدری سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا وہ وقت قریب ہے جب مسلمان کا (سب سے) عمدہ مال (اس کی بکریاں ہوں گی)۔ جن کے پیچھے وہ پہاڑوں کی چوٹیوں اور برساتی وادیوں میں اپنے دین کو بچانے کے لیے بھاگ جائے گا۔

اس حدیث میں فتنوں کے دور میں عزلت نشینی کی فضیلت کا بیان ہے ماسوا اس کے کہ اس بندے میں فتنے کو دور کرنے کی طاقت ہو۔اس صورت میں اس پر واجب ہے کہ وہ فتنے کو ختم کرنے کی کوشش کرے۔ ایسا کرنا اس پر یا تو فرض عین ہو گا یا پھرحالات و امکانات کے لحاظ سے فرض کفایہ ہوگا۔ تاہم فتنے کے علاوہ دیگر دنوں کے بارے میں علماء کا اختلاف ہے کہ ان میں انسان کے لیے عزلت نشینی اور لوگوں سے گھل مل کر رہنے میں سی کون سی صورت افضل ہے؟ زیادہ پسندیدہ قول یہی ہے کہ انسان لوگوں کے ساتھ گھل مل کر رہے اگر اسے غالب گمان ہو کہ وہ گناہوں میں مبتلا نہیں ہو گا۔ "يفر بدينه من الفتن" یعنی اس اندیشے کے تحت بھاگ جائے گا کہ کہیں دین کے معاملے میں وہ فتنوں کا شکار نہ ہو جائے۔ اسی وجہ سے انسان کو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ جن علاقوں میں شرک عام ہو وہ وہاں سے ہجرت کر کے ان علاقوں میں آ جائے جہاں اسلام کا غلبہ ہو اور اسی طرح جن علاقوں میں فسق و فجور کا دور دورہ ہو انہیں چھوڑ کر ان علاقوں میں آ جائے جہاں (اسلام پر) استقامت کا غلبہ ہو۔ لوگوں اور وقت کے تغیر کے ساتھ ایسے ہی کرنا چاہیے۔
